John Pruett MCP, CBO, BCS

John is the chief building official at CC&I. He is a graduate of Danville Community College with an AS in drafting and design technologies and Old Dominion University with a BS in mechanical engineering technology. John’s previous experience as a chief building official, division manager, and trainer have given him the ability to utilize managerial, organizational and

professional skills to supervise inspection services throughout the Upstate of SC, assist in the accounting reviews for clients, and develop and instruct building code courses. His involvement in the construction and building code fields in SC and Georgia make John a true asset to CC&I and our clients. 

John is a member of the Upper State Code Enforcement Association and Building

Officials Association of SC.
