John joined the team in February of 2022 after retiring from the SC State Fire Marshalls Office where he served as a Supervisor and put more than 25 years of service in. He has shown great ambition in acquiring his Certified Building Official certification and helped train other in the fire inspection category. John also assists with plan review and special projects across the state. John also holds additional certifications from NFPA which are NFPA Fire Inspector II and NFPA Fire Plans Examiner. He is a member of SC Firefighters Association, SC Fire Marshalls Association, SC IAAI and National IAAI.
